2 Frogs - Two friends sit and contemplate the meaning of life, death, and existentialism. But has one of them perhaps overstayed their welcome?
This has been a rough week. Probably something to do with the 20 straight days of rain. In an attempt to cheer myself up, I went to the Renwick Gallery in Washington, DC and thought about the ephemerality of life. I've always been a bit - and by a bit I mean completely terrified - of death. So to sit with other people and contemplate the idea that eventually everyone in that room would die was both suffocating and freeing. So I started to really think about what the inevitability of death meant on a larger cosmic scale. With frogs.
An experiment for myself to write a 10 minute play, every week, for twelve weeks.
